Crafted win at the Fresh Awards!

It’s celebrations all round in the Crafted studios today as last night we took Bronze in the Sites & Search category at the Fresh Awards 2012.

This year’s Fresh Awards received more than 160 entries from across the UK, with only 73 of these companies making it into the shortlist phase. In the Sites & Search category, only five entries made it into the finals, with Crafted one of only two entrants taking home a gong.

Our content marketing activity for reallymoving.com has made it into the shortlist for the Sites & Search category - our third awards nomination since July.

Applying unique search tactics and innovative content, backed up by high quality SEO, we’ve delivered a 62% increase in organic search traffic for the UK’s leading provider of quotes for home moving services.

Following the success of the last year, Crafted recently launched a redesign of reallymoving.com. The new design now features more moving advice, tips and checklists, as well as a dedicated Q&A section – Property Professors – which give movers a chance to put their questions to a panel of moving experts

We’ll find out if we can take gold at an awards ceremony on 4 October.

With just two days to go until our epic 100km trek across the South Downs, Trailwalker fever is setting in at Crafted HQ.

Our eight walkers have been planning their strategy to ensure they cross the finish line within the required 30 hours, and our support crew has stocked up on supplies, ready for when the team reaches each checkpoint. Their efforts are all in aid of Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust, two organisations that we’re hoping to raise more than £3,000 for.

Crafted launch redesigned forms for reallymoving.com

Today marks the launch of another successful Crafted project – the redesign of reallymoving.com’s quote forms.

At Crafted, we understand that effective digital marketing solutions go further than simply designing a great looking website. For our client reallymoving.com, the UK’s leading provider of quotes for home moving services, it was essential that the process of requesting a quote was optimised to encourage consumers to interact with its available services.

We used ClickTale software to carry out a thorough user experience review of the site’s existing engagement forms, before using our gained insights to refresh the website’s design, messaging, form and field layout, security and process.

We measured each form using A/B conversion testing against their pre-existing counterparts and monitored activity using video customer experience analytics to measure user behaviour.

Crafted Wins Another Outstanding Achievement Award

We're pleased to announce that Crafted built www.reallymoving.com has won the Web Marketing Association award for outstanding achievement in website development. 

Redesigned and relaunched by Crafted in March this year, reallymoving.com is the leading comparison site for moving home services. Winning this award comes hot on the heels of the site’s July 2008 award from the Interactive Media Awards, Outstanding Achievement for Real Estate.

Crafted’s continued partnership with reallymoving.com is a direct result of these awards and the website’s sustained success. Launched in 1999, reallymoving.com was one of the earliest websites for the moving home services and has become the leading force in generating instant multiple quotes for the site’s users, including: conveyancing, surveyors, removals, HIPs and EPCs.
