Crafted shortlisted for mobile marketing award

Crafted's beaten off stiff international competition to emerge as one of the finalists in the B2B category at the Effective Mobile Marketing Awards (EMMAs).

Selected for our design of the anyspacedirect.co.uk iPhone application, we're hoping to emerge as a winner at the ceremony on 7th December at Vinopolis in London.

The app is a clever mobile marketing tool, which enables small to medium sized businesses (SMEs) to browse available commercial properties across the UK, all from the iPhone handset.

Powerful search functionality displays properties surrounding the user’s current location by either using the iPhone’s GPS or via a location or postcode search. Once a property has been selected, the user-friendly contact form allows users to make direct contact with the space provider to negotiate terms without the need to go through an agent.

The EMMAs are the most respected awards for the mobile marketing industry, so we are thrilled to have been shortlisted.

Boris Johnson launches Crafted website

In a speech given to small businesses, property owners and enterprise support agencies, London Mayor Boris Johnson today unveiled ‘London New Enterprise,’ a website developed alongside anyspacedirect.co.uk, the commercial property platform recently launched by Crafted.

The website connects up and coming businesses in London with landlords with available properties on their books. Many small firms find commercial property rental prices significantly out of their budgets and may fail to grow as they are unable to find affordable accommodation in a suitable location.

 The website will become a useful tool to drive entrepreneurial spirit in the capital, and help small businesses gain traction as they begin following growth strategies.

With our dificcult economic climate, it can be very difficult for smaller businesses to find property that is suitable yet cost-effective. So, Crafted has worked with a variety of parties including Workspace Group PLC and London Mayor to ensure the new website has the resources and backing to make a real difference to the fortunes of SMEs in and around London.

Anyspacedirect.co.uk launched by Crafted

Commercial property platform anyspacedirect.co.uk was recently launched following several months of work from all three our integral teams. The website showcases property portfolios from many of the UK’s leading business space providers, giving small and medium sized businesses a fast and direct approach to finding the right commercial space for them.

The website combines a professional and usable layout with powerful functionality connecting potential customers with the most relevant commercial properties in seconds.

A host of interactive features are present, including a proprietary search platform that includes features such as allowing users to search for commercial property by the closest tube station.

The innovative platform has been backed by a number of major industry players including Workspace Group PLC, one of the largest UK-based suppliers of commercial property to small and medium sized enterprises. Crafted previously launched a brand new web identity for Workspace Group in September 2009, which delivered a 20% increase the average number of enquiries.

Following the release, our search marketing team began to implement both PPC and organic search optimisation campaigns to increase the reach of anyspacedirect.co.uk and its ability to connect with its target market.

With anyspacedirect.co.uk, we have combined technically robust systems with a host of interactive features to drive relevant traffic and increase conversions.
