Can you help Crafted raise £3,000 to combat poverty?

Last Friday, Crafted kicked off the Jubilee bank holiday weekend in style by holding a charity DJ night ahead of our 100k charity trek across the South Downs.

In just over a month, eight of us will be taking part in the Trailwalker - an epic 62 mile trek that must be completed in less than 30 hours. You can follow our progress on our Facebook page.

As part of our fundraising efforts, we held a night of funky electro beats and live percussion at Number 16 in Tacket Street to collect donations for Trailwalker organisers Oxfam and the Gurkha Welfare Trust. The event hosted some of the best DJs and artists in the Suffolk and Essex areas, including Magic Motion, DJ Hustle, C-Kay and our very own Daniel Somers (Doolittle). Thanks to all of the DJs that took part and to everyone that came down to show their support.

We raised more than £200 on the night, bringing our total fundraising total for the hike so far to more than £1,000.

But we’re not stopping there.

To help us reach our £3,000 goal, we’re looking for sponsors.

  1. For £200, we would include your logo on the t-shirts of all of our walkers, and those of our eight support crew.
  2. For £500 (or more if you like), you can become our lead sponsor. This will secure you a logo on the front, back and arms of our t-shirts, a post on the Crafted blog and mentions in our event press releases.
  3. Of course we are also accepting donations at our fundraising page!

550 teams have signed up to walk the 62m journey, with an average of four walkers per team. By sponsoring, not only may your logo be seen by thousands of people, but your branding may be captured in official event photography as part of Oxfam’s own PR activity; although of course we can’t guarantee this!

Naturally, the main reason to sponsor our epic trek is to support a worthy cause and help to combat poverty and distress around the globe.

If you can help us to make a difference, please contact us via our online form to discuss sponsorship options, or visit our fundraising page to donate directly.

The efforts of number 16 agency in London and Ipswich are really admire able as they are fighting against poverty and inflation. Now the main initiative they have taken is to rise fund and donations through craft raising so that they collects 3000 to help others. This is not the final task to do. Actually their target is to go above then 3000 as much as they can so that they can serve and help many needy and demanding families. Also with the help of rising craft industry, they can give employment to the unemployed members of these families.
